Banking API for corporates

konfipay is an online payment service powered by windata GmbH & Co. KG with the headquarter in Wangen im Allgäu, Germany. Via REST-API konfipay can be directly integrated in every application. With konfipay it’s possible to digitize the electronic payment between the business software of the company and their credit institutions. No additional banking software is required for the corporate payment transaction.

In a few points we describe the big difference to all other banking-APIs on the market nowadays:

• Personal Access Data o For the communication with the credit institution konfipay doesn’t need any personal access or login data of the company! konfipay communicates to the banks with its separate own identity and never has a competence to authorize payments on the customer account. That’s why the customers keep the absolute sovereignty to their banking authorization and also to the personal access data to their bank accounts.

• Retail Payments o konfipay is able to transmit payment orders of any size to the financial institutions and retrieve all the account transactions back from the financial institutions. There aren’t any quantitative limits such as 1000 transactions per transmission.

• Authorization of Payments o konfipay is transmitting payment orders as a technical service provider to the credit institutions and provides them to the customer account for subsequent and final authorization via VEU. This verification can be done by the account holder or any representative independent of any time or location. There is no need to enter a TAN in the context of the payment transfer.

This feature also allows the transfer of payment orders by service providers to the customer account - the service provider does not require any authority of pay. The final payment release can also be set later by the account holder, independent of time and place.
